from April 3- April 23 2023, TSWINI Partnered with The Nigerian Center for Jobs Migration and Integration to conduct a vocational training for 35 women at the Kabusa IDP community. The 3 weeks sessions involved trainings in hat blocking and design, gele tying, auto gele production, tiara beading, bama cap production , material dyeing and processing, customer engagement and marketing. The training was led by our founder and Celebrity milliner Chisom Nwankwo. After the 3 weeks intensive training, the 35 beneficiaries were supported with start-up tool boxes to enable them start up their own businesses in the millinery industry. The best student Zilly was offered a 1 month internship opportunity with the founder’s millinery brand CiiE luxuries.
